Never say never... except...

Most simply put a never runner is someone who feels a barrier to running, has never truly enjoyed it, never felt successful in it and/or never had any internally motivated desire to practice it.
It's reasonable enough that some people might fit that definition. But the word "never" has such an absolute tone it can cause a negative initial reaction and elicit objectors.
One kind of objector may be pro running and knows all the value and benefits of running as well as possible negatives for not running. They may instantly see this as a negative mindset that is limiting, hopeless and harming.
Another kind of objector is a never runner themselves, but has been conditioned to shame this mentality as weak, even though it’s what they secretly feel. They feel they are supposed to shut it down and replace it with forced positivity, motivation and mindset correction whether authentic or not.
These kinds of objections skip right over the harm not honoring where we are in a given moment and not loving ourself unconditionally even when holding onto a never. How can we genuinely take steps forward to anywhere if we don't acknowledge the genuine echos of the heart?
Never say never except when it can align you with your authentic heart. That is the first step in real power and real heart-understood-power is the key to living freely.
